To be clear; everyone interviewed as a suspect by the police is entitled to free advice and assistance, regardless of their means. Legal aid may be available, subject to qualifying rules, if you face proceedings before the Courts.

If you qualify for legal aid you will receive the same degree of assistance that we offer to our privately-paying clients, whether this is at the police station, the Magistrates’ Court, or beyond.
